Congratulations to buyers of Kirtzinger Quarter Horses

Oct. 2010

Now that our 2010 foals are weaned, Clayton Brookwell made a wise choise in "Coolest Pepper".  Out of an own daughter of  Coolest and by The Peppered Kid, this black colt has the best head and neck of any colt I've ever seen.  Watch for Clayton on the show circuit in the future!  Good luck Clayton and Congratulations on your new purchase.  Please keep in touch and let us know how he's doing!

Sept 2010

Tracie Robinson recently achieved Reserve High Point horse at the Lacombe Open Horse show.   Congratulations Tracie and Gambler!

She likes Gambler so much that she recently traded her 2 year old Jose daughter for a yearling black colt (soon to be gelding), wanting to train another willing Jose partner and allowing me the opportunity to show a Jose filly myself.  I'm really looking forward to showing Zoe in 2011... thanks Tracie!

Congratulations also to Liz on the purchase of Last Little Baggins aka Pearl.  I understand you're having a blast with your new girl.  How is she doing?

I recently saw Ellie, a 3 year old Jose out of Pocos Diamond Dakota and she's HUGE - at least 16 hh and probably 1300 lbs plus and she's NN and in foal to Call Me Tardee Clu for a 2011 foal. This foal will be a 3/4 sibling to the filly that I showed to the 2010 filly futurity at the Canadian National QH show in August.  I'm as excited as you are Kristie!

Good luck to everyone else too!  Please feel free to post your accomplishments here!

Thank you Sandy! Ellie gets better by the day...and now has a slight baby bump too! Ellie recently (April) earned her first AQHA points and was able to do so with very limited showing. In one show, she was able to win both Amateur Junior mares and Open 3 year old mares, earning 1.5 points. Plans for next year entail taking "Junior" (On A Peppered Whim by The Peppered Kid X Call Me Tardee Clu) to a couple futurities and having Ellie ready for some of the fall shows. For health reasons, our showing this year was very limited, much to my despair. So, with an increasing string of quality show horses, most of which from Kirtzinger Quarter Horses, I intend on hitting the circuit hard next year. Watch out for all those 'Lil Jose's and be sure to stop by and check them out. Afterall, "the outside of a horse is good for the inside of a person." -Martha Josey Where better to find that eye candy than at Kirtzinger Quarter Horses!

Hey Kristie,
I'm really looking forward to seeing Ellie's baby next year too! It will be a 3/4 sibling to "Rachel" the filly that won the QHAA weanling filly futurity this year! I'm glad you're feeling better and I sure look forward to showing with you again next year... You go girl!

How is your new colt doing Clayton? Clayton Brookwell chose "Coolest Pepper" as his 2011 yearling stallion project. Good choice, Clayton! "Kevin" has a teeny, tiny head and an awesome swan neck with good thickness throughout his body. This black 2010 foal by "The Peppered Kid" is going to do well on the show circuit! We had many, many compliments on him and even someone from Spain inquiring, so you've got a good one, Clayton! Please keep us updated with pictures as he grows!
